A limited number of bottles have been released and one is available in India
Mumbai Duty Free is presenting the exceptionally rare 52-year-old Bowmore 1965 Single Malt Scotch Whiskey at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Airport, India.
A limited number of 232 bottles have been released worldwide, and one bottle is now available for purchase in India, exclusively at Mumbai Duty Free departure store, that features a live display for the expression.
Produced at the Bowmore distillery by distillery manager Eddie MacAffer, the whiskey showcases more than 230 years of maturation knowledge within the No.1 Vaults. It is the newest addition to the 50-year-old vault series. It has rich fruit and smoky notes, that are the hallmarks of the distillery’s signature style.
Mumbai Duty Free Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships, Amit Butani said: “At Mumbai Duty Free, we are dedicated to providing our customers with unique products and are pleased to bring the Bowmore 1965 to India, exclusively available at our store.
