INDIA. Mumbai Duty Free has released the Ardbeg Smoketrails Manzanilla Edition at Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. This whisky is only available at selected travel retail locations and the Ardbeg Distillery Visitor Centre in Islay, Scotland.
The expression is showcased at Mumbai Duty Free alongside Ardbeg’s core range of single malt whiskies including An Oa, Uigeadail and Corryvreckan.
Ardbeg Smoketrails allows travellers to explore the influence of different casks on Ardbeg’s smoky single malt. The Manzanilla Edition combines Ardbeg American oak casks with Manzanilla sherry casks from Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Spain. The fusion of these casks imparts a salty, marine character that enhances the smoky notes of the expression.
